Join our executive director Joe Meyer as you forage throughout the CEC ecosystems looking and collecting Spring wild edibles. Learn the natural history and identification of plants and fungus that can add flavor, nutrition, and interest to our plates. During our time together you'll also learn the techniques and tips for making some amazing wild edible meals.
Fun for all ages and families welcome (children 5 and under are free)

About the Instructor: Joe Meyer, founder of the Catholic Ecology Center, has worked in National Parks and environmental institutes across the country. He is a wild edibles aficionado and enjoys helping others experience the beauty and bounty of creation!
