Row 4 Dough is an exercise fundraising event benefiting the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois. This friendly competition challenges teams of 5 participants to row a half marathon (13.1 miles) race on beautiful Lake Mattoon.  

Event Details

Saturday, August 15, 2026 at the Lake Mattoon Beach & Pavilion (See map below in Location Section)

**Rower check-in starting at 8:15am and race start at 9:00am.**  

Following the row, rowers and volunteers are invited to stay for a free lunch and row team awards in the Pavilion.  Team costumes and fun team names are encouraged! 

Cost 

All rowers must collect a minimum of $50 in donations from family, friends, and coworkers. Each rower to reach the fundraising minimum of $50 will receive a Row 4 Dough workout shirt.

No matter what level, this is a great way to show support for the mission and athletes of Special Olympics Illinois and ensure that we can continue to provide year-round programming for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
