For over 3 years now Craig Denham (on piano) has been hosting a singalong session at the Mussel Inn in Onekaka every Monday evening. These have grown into a joyous, well attended weekly community gathering and we're now bringing the concept to The Boathouse.

The rules are simple. We can attempt anything you want to sing. There is no setlist though there are some songbooks if you are needing inspiration. Rules:

1) If you choose a song you’re responsible for singing it the whole way through. ie you aren’t allowed to request a song for us to sing you so that you can join in on just the bits you know. Sometimes the musicians need to hear from a singer how the tune goes in order to be able to play it!

2) you need at least 2 other folks who want to sing that song with you. This is because it’s not about showing off how great you are at singing, it’s about everyone singing together and having a great time.

3) all are welcome and all songs and styles are welcome!

This singalong is a trial to see how it goes and if there’s enough interest. If it goes well this could well become a regular happening.

Musicians accompanying will be Craig Denham on piano and Nathan Torvik on Guitar. Come get some goodness!!
