he BIG LET GO is Sophie Barbarics’ special pre-holiday gathering—happening only twice!
This is not your typical dance class; it’s a bold celebration, a gentle rebellion against winter’s tightness, and an invitation to let go and move freely before the festive rush.
Each evening features contemporary technique shaped by playful prompts—think accessible floorwork, spirited choreography, and exercises that wake up body and mind.
Then, we shift into a circle: improvisational jams, inventive group tasks, and a taste of Sophie’s creative dance sessions for self-discovery and connection.
Imaginary Themes & Your Story
Every jam springs from an exciting, imaginary theme—Metamorphosis, Stardust, Dream Parade, Lost & Found, and more.
Sophie sets the stage, but it’s your presence, imagination, and story that bring the night alive.
Bring an idea or image, share a personal theme, or just dive in—your story helps us fill the space.
Together, we’ll create playful rituals, animate movement tales, and invent unexpected connections through dance.
