Layered Life Crochet Poncho Workshop

Karen Thomas - a local Fibre Artist and Art Therapist is offering a “Layered Life Crochet Poncho Workshop” where Crocheters will spend six weeks designing and constructing their own poncho. The design process will involve considering elements of your life that you would like to incorporate in the creation of the poncho.
A free pattern from Ravelry will be suggested as the starting point for the project. The workshop will include time to create the design, purchase the yarn and tools, crochet the poncho and to reflect throughout the process through journalling and discussions with other group members. Karen will continue to support students with their crochet learning needs as the workshop progresses. Here are the Details:
Workshop Location: Berkana Wool Shop
Fee: $120 for 6 sessions
Optional Fee: $20 to attend the Beginner's Class on October 14th
Prerequisite Skills: slip knot, chain, single crochet and double crochet - these will be taught at the Beginner's Class
Participants: Minimum 4, Maximum 6
Supplies not included in class fee: Yarn, Crochet Hook, Personal Journal
