Kotahitanga: Creativity in Collaboration

Demonstrating the beauty of musical collaboration, SOUNZ CEO and flutist
Dr Hannah Darroch, NZSQ violist Gillian Ansell and collaborative pianist Dr Sarah Watkins will join forces for a stunning chamber music recital featuring works by NZ composers and rarely heard pieces by UK and French composers.
This concert is a highlight of IRMTNZs national Conference, 'Kotahitanga - Creativity in Collaboration', 8 - 10 April 2026 at NCMA.
'Kotahitanga' brings together music educators from across New Zealand and beyond for Professional Development, networking and inspiration.
The Conference is open to all music teachers regardless of membership status and NCMA teachers are welcome to register at the IRMTNZ member rate.
