It’s that time of year again!
As we look forward to the end-of-year festivities, Tasman District Council is happy to once again host Christmas Carols in Washbourn Gardens —to get everyone into the festive spirit.
This year’s event will open with the Brazilian Social Club, setting the tone for the evening. They’ll be followed by our wonderful brass band and choir, who have delighted audiences for many years with their superb performances.
To make the most of our sound setup, the celebration will continue after the carols with a special Youth After Glow Party. All rangatahi are invited to join a dance filled 9–10pm disco.
6pm - 8pm Brazilian Social Club, Kids activities, Food Carts
8pm - Welcome, Carols by Brass band, Choir
8.55pm - Close
9pm - Youth Disco begins
10pm - Bedtime!
Bring a koha for a candle (first in first served) - all proceeds will go towards Motueka Pool, also bring along some coins for a sausage sizzle to further support this group.
Bring your own drinks and picnic as food vendors are limited. Bring your own cups and plates to keep this event low waste :-)
