Cancer Support and Recovery Massage Clinic by RMT Students
Our RMT Student clinic invites individuals with a cancer diagnosis and cancer survivors to book into our Cancer Support and Recovery massage clinic on November 18.
Research shows that massage may help reduce symptoms commonly associated with cancer and cancer treatment such as: fatigue, nausea, pain, and anxiety and depression. The clinic takes place in an open classroom setting with several students and clients present in the same room.
If you are currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments, please contact our office at 250-352-5887 so we can arrange for a free consultation with the head clinic supervisor to discuss a treatment plan for your visit.
Appointments are 45 minutes and offered by donation.
Our students are under the supervision of a BC-licensed RMT at all times.
Please note that we cannot massage anyone with an active ICBC or WCB claim.
