4th of July demonstration sidewalk chalk Mural

Join Artist, Naturalist, and Environmental Humanitarian Activist Ms. Planet at Riverside Park on the 4th of July in a demonstration to create sidewalk chalk art around the "Playing in The Rain fountain." Let's take everything in our hearts and translate it into art on the ground. What message do you want the masses to know on this day where our country traditionally celebrates freedom?

If for any reason, the security tries to stop us from chalking there, we will peacibly move to the nearby sidewalk on the parks edge. If security forces us to move from there, we will peacibly move to the sidewalk across the street.

This event is meant to be just one form of peaceful protest through art. If anyone wishes to protest with signs or any other form, I ask them to please stay seperate from our group that will just be creating art. All artists are asked to keep in mind that children will have their eyes on this and to please keep it appropriate. No swear words, and no lewd depictions.

This event will be canceled if there is rain during the time bracket of the event that is anything more than a mist or causing wet pavement.
