We welcome all EMCRs: students from Honours to Masters, all PhD candidates, Postdocs, RAs, Lab Techs & Industry Reps! Join us for your 1-day local in-person symposium on June 23rd at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. The event will be held in the McCusker Auditorium. This meeting builds on our successes and is part of a series of interstate symposia held mid-year.This collaborative and engaging series is designed as a platform for EMCRs at all career stages to showcase the cutting-edge science produced by Australia's next generation of researcher leaders. These symposia are a supportive environment organised by EMCRs for EMCRs. Presenters are encouraged to share ongoing projects and developments so we may all expand our local networks and learn from each other. As such, this meeting will cover a wide array of stem cell research topics, including, but not limited to:Disease modellingVector design and gene editingCell and gene therapy strategiesRegenerative medicineOrganoidsSpatial transcriptomicsComputational biologyDevelopmental biology________________________________________Abstracts are due by May 20th! Only 300 words and the title should be short and snappy! Abstract submission is part of the registration process through Eventbrite when registering as a presenter.
