Please join us on Tuesday, April 29th at 4pm for our next Pet Loss Group outing at the wondrous Woodside Pet Cemetery located in Navarre, Ohio. This group is free & all are welcome to attend.
Attendees will be given a memorial gift to honor your animal companion and take before you head home, so please be sure to pre-register so that we have it available for you.
Established in 1967, Woodside Pet Cemetery is a beautiful sanctuary for beloved pets with complete facilities available for ALL from goldfish to horses, & even human families that have been put together with their animal companions. Woodside is a place where “serenity reigns supreme”.
This group is facilitated by a licensed Veterinary Social Worker. During this group, we will be sharing handouts and resources for grief & loss and offering engaging discussions on navigating end of life care and more.
🌱🌿🌳Aspects of Ecotherapy will be incorporated, offering a space for reflection, remembrance, and healing by reconnecting with the natural world. By gathering here, we hope to provide a sacred space where we can honor the memories of those we have lost. We can also reflect on the impact they had on our lives, inviting and welcoming all emotions in.🌱🌿🌳
Engaging in these activities, whether alone or with others, can foster a sense of connection and community, so after a brief intro we will encourage you to explore the grounds as you'd like and what fits your needs.
This group takes place outdoors - please dress accordingly and as comfy as you'd like!
