He is dedicated to preserving and sharing ancestral Kulintang traditions through performance, teaching, and cultural exchange.Farid has performed at major national and international platforms, including Gongster’s Paradise in San Francisco, the Dayaw Festival at Manila’s Metropolitan Theater, and the Philippine Embassy in Beijing. In 2023, he was recognized at the Cotabato Artists Recognition Night for his contributions to traditional gong music.In 2024, he released his debut album Kambasal sa Maguindanao under U.S.-based label Gongs Away Music, bringing Kulintang ensemble music from his family lineage to global audiences.
