Hand Spinning Yarn Workshop

This is a craft workshop to learn about sheep and get a taste of processing wool and making your own yarn.

You will:

Meet our sheep and learn about their breeds and the shearing process.
Try processing NCOF wool into roving or batts.
Make your own drop spindle and turn roving into yarn.
Watch a spinning wheel demonstration and take a turn on the spinning wheel.
This workshop is for ages 6 and up, anyone under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Program runs rain or shine; no refunds will be given after 1/27/25 unless we need to cancel due to extreme weather or low enrollment.
