Get ready to move to the infectious rhythms of Bachata, a dance from the Dominican Republic! This class is all about having fun and moving your body. We'll shift between high-energy follow-alongs that get your heart pumping with bachata footwork and calmer moments where you'll learn fundamental partner work moves and get to connect with classmates.
The focus is on joy, not perfection! Liz's goal is for you to feel energized, move your body, and get a taste of social dancing.
This class is designed for EVERYBODY and EVERY BODY. We enthusiastically welcome students of all abilities, and can provide physical modifications and adaptations to ensure everyone can fully participate and enjoy the movement. No prior dance experiences is needed, and you do not need to bring a partner.
Please wear shoes you can spin in and bring water.
