String Games!

Remember playing Cat's Cradle with friends? We welcome kids, nostalgic adults, and newbies of all ages to this exploration of All Things String... Learn classic solo figures like Cup and Saucer, Eiffel Tower, and Jacob's Ladder, or invent new ones! String and rope have been essential to human ventures for millennia, and cultures around the world have developed string figures, many of them quite complex. Impress your friends with a magic trick, or make yourself a bracelet. Take home a finger string loop of your own, just your size! Drop in between 3:30 and 5:00 on the first Thursday of the month with children's librarian Aria.
