The CBSW Community Taskforce is elated to announce the Inaugural CBSW Conference.

The conference will take place at the UT College of Social Work in Nashville, TN on February 7.

This year’s theme is: “Still I Rise: Moving Forward in the Face of Adversity.”

The Coalition of Black Social Workers (CBSW) was founded in June 2018 at the University of Tennessee through the Social Justice Innovation Initiative Grant. The mission states the following: The Coalition of Black Social Workers exists to engage, connect, and empower Black social work students and professionals in the community, with the goal of increasing awareness about issues specific to the Black community and cultivating a network of support.
