6th annual Smithfield and Friends Christmas Show description:

The annual tradition for the duo is filled with holiday magic! Smithfield and Friends Christmas show has all the holiday classic songs you know and love, plus holiday originals! They feature 5 different guest artists, making the show a different experience every year. The band also picks a local Nashville charity to give back to for the holiday season. This year is the Last Minute toy store. Each guest is politely asked to bring at least one unwrapped toy to the show to put in donation boxes to give back to kids this holiday season in Nashville.

Rooted in stunning harmonies and heartfelt songwriting, SmithField is a modern country duo inspired by one of country music’s long-standing legacies: the male-female duet. SmithField hail from a small town in Texas, where they met at the age of 10, and their families go back 3 generations. From the start, SmithField's music was a unique mix of the contemporary and the classic, blurring the boundaries between country, pop, and rock.

There's no lead singer in SmithField. No main songwriter, either. Instead, Jennifer and Trey split those duties equally, writing harmony-filled songs that explore love, loss, and life from both sides of a relationship. Since moving to Music City, their song “Hey Whiskey,” a Sirius XM radio ‘Highway Find’ in 2018, launched the duo into critically acclaimed artists that Rolling Stone, Billboard, People, and Forbes have all raved about and called the ‘Ones To Watch’ in country music. The band has independently amassed over 150 million global streams and has 40 Grand Ole Opry performances to date.

SmithField has opened for some of country music’s biggest acts, including Old Dominion, Kane Brown, Brothers Osborne, Dustin Lynch, Morgan Wallen, and country legends Joe Nichols, Josh Turner, Diamond Rio, and Sara Evans, to name a few.
