NKBA board members will join in as team mentors and judges will crown our chapter’s Top Chili Champion.How It WorksWe’ll have 4–5 teams of 3–4 people each.You can sign up as a full team or register individually to be placed on one.Registration closes Wednesday, November 6th.After registration, teams will be finalized and introduced so they can connect, plan recipes, and get ready to bring the heat!Each team will have 90 minutes to cook and plate their chili using a shared pantry of ingredients (plus any secret additions you want to bring).Judges will evaluate entries on flavor, creativity, presentation, and team spirit.Competition Rules & Process1. Team Structure:Each team includes 3–4 participants and may include a:Team Captain Chef (primary cook)Sous Chef (assistant)Runner (gathers ingredients and helps)2. Time Limit: 90 minutes to cook and plate your chili.3. Ingredients:A pantry with base ingredients and seasonings will be provided.One protein (e.g. ground beef) will be supplied.Teams may bring one “secret” ingredient of their choice.4.
