Moth Night at the Arboretum
🌙 Moth Night at Nash County Arboretum! 🦋
Join us Thursday, July 17 from 8:30 – 10:30 PM for a magical evening with the Nash County Extension Master Gardeners and Lior Carlson of Backyard Butterflies!

Discover the wonder of moths as we attract them using a light source and collecting sheet, then photograph and log sightings for a citizen science project on iNaturalist. 📸📱

Moths play vital roles as pollinators, indicator species, and food sources for other wildlife — and your participation helps scientists track important data on their populations. 🌿

✅ Free and open to the public (ages 10+)
🎟️ Space is limited — pre-registration opens mid-June!
