Ceramics Studio Orientation (Members Only)

PLEASE NOTE - this is not a workshop, class or open studio event. Attendees will NOT be creating any clay objects during this orientation.

THIS EVENT IS FOR MAKE NASHVILLE MEMBERS ONLY, IT IS NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Make Nashville Members wishing to work in the Ceramics Studio must attend this orientation before being allowed to use the studio and equipment. Orientations will be held every second Monday at 6pm sharp. Ticket availability will end one day before the event takes place so please register in advance. On dates when no one has registered in advance for the orientation, NO orientation session will be held.

Topics include: a walk-through to see where everything is located; instructions on how and where to store ceramic wares, studio equipment and personal items; clean-up rules and routines; firing schedules and procedures; Cone 6 clay and glaze purchases; clay recycling, other miscellaneous details.

Non-members may attend by invitation only in order to see our studio and equipment but everyone should be aware that this is not a workshop, class or open studio event. Attendees will NOT be creating any clay objects during this orientation event.
