She has been named a fellow of the American Academy in Rome, a Guggenheim Fellow, and a MacArthur Fellow. In addition to Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, she has also published translations of Sophocles, Euripides, and Seneca. She lives in Philadelphia.About Helen Sanders:Helen Sanders is Director of Education at Nashville’s Parthenon, where she leads educational and public programming for the museum. She has served as a museum educator, archaeologist, and college instructor, and previous work includes her role as internship coordinator for Nashville Public Library.
