Join us for our ongoing Park After Dark series, in which we explore Dillon after sunset through a variety of programs, activities, and experiences!
Wednesday, November 5: Full Supermoon Hike (6-7pm)
- Meet at the Marina parking lot entrance for an approximately 1 mile, moderately strenuous hike. Artificial lights may be brought but used at Naturalist's discretion.
Saturday, December 6: Naturalist's Learning Adventures with the Muskingum County Library: Awesome Astronomy with the Cold Moon (6-8pm)
- Join us at the Skydeck (located in the campground near area C. Please park in the main parking lot and walk in.) We will have telescopes set up and activities to help deepen our astro-understanding!
Saturday, January 24: Naturalist's Learning Adventures with the Muskingum County Library: The Coyote Chronicles (6-8pm)
- Join us for a coyote-centric evening taking place both indoors and outside! First, take part in a Q&A-style discussion on everything coyote-related. Then, we'll take to the nighttime trails searching for evidence of these wild canid creatures! Hike will be approximately 1.5 miles over natural, wooded terrain.
**Children must be accompanied by an adult for all programs. Programs are subject to change or cancellation. Please notify the naturalist of any requests for special accommodation.**
