Organizations are frequently asked to respond to legislative changes, market fluctuations, safety concerns, and patient or staff demands. The success of major change implementation hinges on how it communicated and how it impacts individuals and processes in the organization. Stakeholders frequently resist change for many reasons, including not having enough information, fear of how the change will affect them, comfort with the status quo, and not understanding the benefits of the change. For change to truly be effective, a leader must know how to effectively communicate the benefits, minimize the barriers, and describe the processes. Learn from your peers as they share approaches that were successful and those that impeded the change process.Moderator: Ryan Moon, FACHEChief Operating OfficerCHRISTUS St Michael HospitalPanelists:Jason AdamsChief Executive OfficerCHRISTUS St Michael HospitalRoger HallChief Executive OfficerCollom & Carney Clinic AssociationGreg Richter, MDBoard ChairCollom & Carney Clinic AssociationSpeakers' Bios:Jason Adams joined the CHRISTUS St. Michael family as President of the health care ministry on February 15, 2021.A native of Arkansas and a University of Georgia Alumni, Jason has more than 27 years of healthcare experience, including a wealth of senior leadership experience in operations, strategic planning, financial accountability, and overall business development in healthcare and complex multi-hospital systems. As President, Jason is responsible for ensuring CHRISTUS St. Michael remains positioned to meet and exceed the health care needs of our community.
