Therapeutic Writing Workshop
Make sometime for yourself by immersing yourself in a Therapeutic Writing Workshop- expand, express and explore. Explore how writing can be used as a positive self-help tool to increase your wellbeing and reduce stress, express yourself in a safe and welcoming environment and expand your horizons.
Carers are invited to join award-writing poet and author, Lee Taylor-Friend for an introduction to ‘Writing as Therapy’. Writing is a powerful tool that can empower and heal you as well as discovering your creative potential. It will include journaling; random letter writing; expressive letter to self and other and more.
Explore how writing can be used as a positive self-help tool to increase your wellbeing and reduce stress, express yourself in a safe and welcoming environment and expand your horizons.
No previous writing experience required. All materials provided.
Cost – $10 per carer
Time – 9.45am meeting time for a 10am start
Please note: Carers ACT will be live streaming this session. As this session is being live streamed, participants are reminded to arrive before or on time. The session will commence once the facilitator is available and as close to the advertised time. If you are unable to attend on the day, you may also change your ticket to a “Streaming” ticket, if this is more suitable to you.
