Creative art for youth wellbeing workshop - Narooma

Interested in creative ways to support your wellbeing? Young people in Eurobodalla are invited to a fun interactive workshop designed to teach you simple and effective tools that you can use at home.

While working on a personal creative project, participants will explore:

• Their sense of self and identity, including values, interests and strengths
• Fun and accessible techniques including collage, drawing, decoupage, photography and calligraphy
• Self-compassion through creative affirmations and positive self-talk
• How making art can create a sense of calm within and provide an outlet for thoughts and feelings
• ‘Glimmers’ or small moments of joy and connection that help to balance stress.

Suitable for young people aged 12 to 25. This workshop focuses on general mental wellbeing and creative learning but is not therapeutic in nature.

Art equipment and snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring along any creative medium that you like to work with.
