- **Event Description**: Join us for a fall-themed fiber art workshop! In this hands-on intro to the wet felting process, learn how to transform raw wool roving to create small decorative wool acorns – complete with real acorn caps! Unlike needle felting, this process does not use any sharp tools. Instead, wet felting uses warm water & soap to lock loose fibers together into solid felted fabric. No prior skills needed, this class is fun for all levels of experience, including beginners. Instructor Christin Lersch will guide you through the process. All materials will be provided. Each participant will leave with new skills and 3-5 of your own handmade, one-of-a–kind wool felted acorns. 

For this workshop, we will have wool in shades of red, orange, yellow and brown to choose from, to match the beautiful changing leaves of autumn!

This workshop is open to adults and teens accompanied by a parent or guardian.
