We all know those couples. They see each other from across the room, they meet, and wham! They’re desperately in love.

That’s not the case for Harry and Sally. In fact, when they meet, they don’t particularly like each other. Sally is earnest and good. Harry is cynical and depressive. It’s not a match made in heaven.

But lovers of rom-coms know that opposites have a way of attracting.

With some of the most palpable on-screen chemistry in movie history, Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan take viewers on a journey through friendship, heartbreak, and the pitfalls of relationships with the help of expert direction from Rob Reiner, a pitch-perfect supporting cast (including Carrie Fisher and Bruno Kirby), and one of the best romantic comedy screenplays of all time from the brilliant Nora Ephron.
