Alexander Heather is a graduate double bass student from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Alexander is a soloist and ensemble player with the Swiss-based LGT Young Soloists where he performed around the world at venues including the Musikverein in Vienna, the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., and Victoria Hall in Singapore. He was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain (2017-19) and won multiple solo competitions and awards. Alexander has also studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London and later the Royal College of Music. He will be accompanied by pianist J. Matthew Swingle. This event is free and open to the public.
