About the eventActivating Your Throat Chakra Meditation, Acupuncture, and Sound Bath
Join Cristin and Jana for a morning of activating the throat chakra! During this workshop Cristin will be guiding the group through a short Throat chakra activation meditation. Following the meditation she will immerse the group in a crystal bowl sound bath. Each participant will receive acupuncture by Jana throughout the sound bath. Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medical practice that involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body. This ancient therapy is believed to stimulate the flow of energy, known as qi, to restore balance and promote healing. Acupuncture is often sought for stress relief and overall well-being.

The Throat Chakra in Sanskrit is called Vissudha (purification). It is ruled over the element of sound and represent by the color Bright blue. This is where we develop our creative expression, communication skills, and our symbolic thinking. This chakra has to do with expression of our authentic voice and the way we listen to the voice within. The upper chakra represent the symbolic mind. where we process words and images. Having enough flexibility to connect with other frequencies while maintaining wholeness to create repeating patterns. In other words to be able to listen and respond with love. This chakras purpose is to purify ourselves of toxicity so we can expand. When we can express our inner most selves authentically and truthfully we will find this chakra in balance. If the throat is blocked than the upward movement of energy becomes blocked also. This chakra is where the mind and body connects and holds the small passageway for the energy to move through. The voice is the most important indicator of a healthy throat chakra If they speak clearly, truthfully and are able to listen and respond. This chakra is about learning to love your voice externally and internally. If the chakra is constricted the voice will sound whiney, whispered, or mumbled. If its excessive it will sound loud, shrill, or the person may try to dominate conversations. Moving through the fourth chakra to the fifth chakra we accept ourselves and are able to express our authentic truth with unconditional love. With this in mind our subconscious mind is able to come to the conscious mind so that we may express it as our personal truth.
