Somatics for Panics (and Everyday Anxiety)

Most of us know what it feels like when our body goes into overwhelm - racing thoughts, tight chest, shaking, shallow breathing, or that sense that everything is just too much.
In this interactive 1-hour workshop, Lauren will explore what’s happening in the body and nervous system during moments of anxiety, stress, or panic. You’ll learn simple somatic tools to help you come back to calm and safety — and discover how to support others when they’re finding it hard to regulate.
Lauren brings warmth, science, and embodied wisdom to help you understand what’s really going on beneath the surface and how to meet yourself (and others) with compassion.

A teacher, nurse, counsellor, social worker, parent, caregiver, or someone who supports others through stress and emotion or if you simply want to feel more confident managing your own anxiety or overwhelm.
