We're partnering with NAMI DuPage for a meaningful afternoon presentation on one of the most important — and often most difficult — things we can do: support the mental health of someone we love.

Our speaker, Suzanne Gowdy, is the Director of Family Support Services at NAMI DuPage, the DuPage County affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. NAMI DuPage's mission is to provide support, advocacy, and education in order to improve the quality of life of individuals with mental illness and their families. 

In her presentation, Suzanne will explore how common mental health challenges truly are, offer practical strategies for showing up for a loved one who is struggling, and remind us why caring for ourselves in the process isn't optional — it's essential.

Whether you're in the thick of supporting someone right now or simply want to be better prepared, this event is for you. All are welcome.
