This Illinois Concealed Carry Certification Course is a comprehensive 16-hour, two-day program that combines engaging classroom instruction with live-fire qualification. The course fully complies with all requirements of the Illinois Firearms Concealed Carry Act. Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate qualifying them to apply for an Illinois Concealed Carry License through the Illinois State Police.

 NOTE: We will have a working lunch both days, so bring your lunch and snacks.

 DAY 1 - Saturday, April 11th (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.):

An interactive classroom session covering essential knowledge and skills, including:

•  Handgun basics and shooting fundamentals
•  Situational awareness and strategies for avoiding conflict
•  The psychology of violent encounters
•  Legal considerations of using deadly force, including post-incident responsibilities
•  Home security and home defense principles
•  Gear and gadget guidance to help students carry concealed more effectively

LOCATION(S): Naperville Sportsmen’s Club – classroom portion, J.R. Shooting Sports - live fire qualification

COST:  $175 (includes range time and qualification target)

Other Information:

FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE CLUBHOUSE.

YOUR FIREARM AND AMMUNITION WILL NOT BE NEEDED FOR THE CLASSROOM PORTION, SO DON’T BRING THEM INSIDE.  YOU WILL ONLY NEED THEM AT THE RANGE ON DAY 2.
