Slip on your boat shoes and your summer best and join us for an evening at the lake! Our Fun & Food Truck series returns to Whalon Lake for a night of classic favorite tunes from Jukebox Heroes as your soundtrack while you enjoy bites from Lil Deb’s Mobile Eats, Grumpy Gaucho and Tacos Maui along with adult beverages from The Dock on Front Street.

Have the kids swing by the bounce house or enjoy lawn games with beautiful views of the preserve, and be sure to stop by the photo booth to capture the memory of the moment! Visit our vendors for giveaways, including free Crumbl cookies; activities from Hidden Oaks Nature Center staff and our partners at Illinois Department of Natural Resources; merch from OutsiderThreads.com and more!

No registration required.

The event is hosted along paved pathways and natural surfaces across uneven terrain.
