World Doctors Orchestra

The World Doctors Orchestra combines the pleasure of fine music with global medical responsibility. Four times a year, around 100 physicians from WDO, which now comprises over 2,000 medical professionals from more than 60 nations, swap their white coats for evening attire and perform charity concerts.

The proceeds of the concerts will be donated to Chi-Care, a Chicago-based non-profit organization that provides food, essential supplies, and healthcare to unhoused and underserved communities through mobile outreach routes and to Community Outreach Intervention Projects (COIP) within the School of Public Health, University of Illinois at Chicago, which operates from storefront sites in 5 locations allowing people to drop in and seek help with a wide variety of problems.
