On Saturday 25 April, Dabbers Dash will quietly recognise Limb Difference Awareness Month and help to raise some awareness for LimbPower and other 

This isn’t about labels, performance or expectations — it’s about creating a space where anyone, from any background or ability, can feel comfortable to move in their own way.

For this month, we especially welcome people with limb differences or amputations, whether you feel experienced, unsure, or just curious about getting involved in something relaxed and community-based. I was born with polydactyly (had an extra thumb removed as a baby), so I’ve had a minor experience of limb difference, and I just want others to feel welcome too.

This is not a specialist or coached session — just a simple, open environment where you can:

✔ Take part at your own pace
✔ Do as much or as little as you like
✔ Come on your own or with others
✔ Feel part of something without pressure

If you know someone with a limb difference, feel free to invite them along — sometimes just knowing something is there is enough.

About Dabbers Dash:

Dabbers Dash is a free, informal community meet-up in Barony Park. People choose to come together to run, walk or wheel at their own pace using public paths and open spaces.

It is not a coached, led or supervised session. There is no instruction, timing or expectation to complete a set distance.

Everyone takes part at their own risk and is responsible for themselves at all times, including any children or pets they bring with them.

Barony Park remains open to other park users during Dabbers Dash, so please stay aware of your surroundings and make your own decisions about what feels safe and appropriate for you.
