Lowland Brothers – Soul électrique et visions cinétiques
Avec Over The Fence, les Lowland Brothers poursuivent leur odyssée musicale en puisant dans la soul psychédélique des années 70, les grooves cinématographiques de la Blaxploitation et les sonorités rugueuses d’un rock viscéral. Originaires de l’Ouest et du Nord de la France, ces musiciens abordent un héritage afro-américain avec une énergie libre et sans concession, en y imprimant leur propre son. Entre influences de Curtis Mayfield, Funkadelic et afro-funk togolais, leur deuxième album fait le pont entre introspection, tension électrique et liberté créative. Une soul racinienne à la fois ancrée et affranchie.
