Join us in the cozy, welcoming atmosphere of the newly-reopened Poetry Yurt on the Commons for an evening of lively, nurturing, original music from some of Gabriola's finest folk musicians.

🌲 Wild Little Spring (Vicky Bowes and Mikey Swallow) just released their very first album "Lost to the Sea". Their music is inspired by the wilds of both Gabriola Island and the UK. They will be joined by guest musicians to round out an evening of folk tunes inspired by coastal living. Colleen Reid is a solo artist writing songs of sacred rebellion, earth connection and empowerment.

🔥 WHAT TO BRING: Please bring items to be comfortable on the floor if you don't wish to sit in one of our folding chairs. Water and tea in enclosed containers are welcome in the yurt. Bring a headlamp/flashlight for your journey to and from the yurt in the darkness of the season. You may also wish to wear your slippers in the yurt, as the floor can feel chilly.

Please park in the WEST parking lot at the Commons (closest to the village). Carpooling is a good idea, too!
