Taking time to rest and unplugging from our busy lives can allow us the space to more fully connect with our experience, see things differently, and to soften around the stressors and challenges we are facing.
Join Stephanie for this three-day residential retreat and immersion into mindfulness meditation. We will explore the benefits of cultivating and resting in awareness, learning new ways to relate to and care for ourselves with warmth and kindness.
Our time together will be guided with sitting meditation, body scan practice, gentle mindful movement/yin-style yoga and walking meditation. The Bethlehem Centre is situated on a beautiful lake with lovely gardens, peaceful trails through the forest and a mindful walking labyrinth.
This retreat is held primarily in silence and is device-free. This environment offers a rare and precious opportunity to turn inward, listen deeply, and to meet our moment-to- moment experience with more clarity, wisdom, and compassion.
Informative talks on the process of being on retreat, mindfulness, stress reactivity, and other topics will be presented by the instructor. Small and large group discussions will center around our experience together walking, sitting, and breathing in the quiet of the beautiful retreat site.
