แนวคิดงาน
Sonic Flux งานแสดงศิลปะเสียง ใช้เสียงเป็นสื่อหลักในการนำเสนอผลงานต่าง ๆ โดย ธีม ในงานครั้งนี้ Deliberated Glitch กลิตช์ (glitch) หรือเสียงของความบกพร่อง ผิดเพี้ยน โดยการจงใจนำแนวคิดมาใช้ในการสร้างสรรค์และการสื่อสารเสียงในรูปแบบเสียงและผนวกเข้ากับงานวีดีโอทดลอง (experimental audiovisual) เพื่อสัมผัสประสบการณ์เสียงร่วมสมัยอย่างใกล้ชิดสำหรับผู้เข้าชมทุกระดับไม่จำกัดอยู่เพียงแวดวงคนทำงานเสียง และ ดนตรีเพียงเท่านั้น โดยนิทรรศการนี้ประกอบไปด้วยงาน 3 ส่วนหลักประกอบไปด้วยงาน live audiovisual งานแสดงวีดีโอทดลอง และงานแสดงดนตรีทดลอง (Experimental Music) โดยกลุ่มศิลปิน CMM จากคณะดุริยางคศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร
ในส่วนของงานจัดวาง ณ นิทรรศการ ผลงาน “Glitchy Wanderer” ออดิโอวิชวลปฏิสัมพันธ์ (live audiovisual installation) ของ กิตติพันธ์ จันทร์บัวลา จัดแสดงต่อเนื่อง 6 ทำการ โดยงานจัดวางนี้ที่เชิญชวนให้ผู้เยี่ยมชมทุกระดับ ไม่จำเป็นต้องมีพื้นฐานทางดนตรีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับงานโดยตรงผ่านเครื่องมือที่ออกแบบโดยศิลปิน โดยศิลปินออกแบบเครื่องมือซึ่งแปลเปลี่ยนค่าสีจาก “กราฟิกสกอร์” ไปสู่เสียงที่รับรู้ได้ จุดมุ่งหมายสำคัญของชิ้นงานคือผู้เข้าร่วมมีส่วนสัมผัสประสบการณ์ออดิโอวิชวลแบบ immersive โดยการควบคุมจากผู้เยี่ยมชมด้วยตนเอง
Project Concept
Sonic Flux is a music/sound practice festival. The theme of this edition is “Deliberated Glitch”, exploring a glitch—an error or imperfection as an aesthetic in practice in creativity through deliberated use. The program merges experimental sound with
experimental audiovisual, inviting audiences of all backgrounds to experience experimental sound works beyond the boundaries of the music or sound art community. The festival consists of two main sections: Live Audiovisual Installation and Intuitive Music/Sound performances, presented by CMM Collective, a group of artists from the Faculty of Music, Silpakorn University.
Installation
The live audiovisual installation “Glitchy Wanderer” by Kittiphan Janbuala will be exhibited for six days. The work explores the use of glitch image data as a score and as a source of audiovisual generation through the installation. GlitchyWanderer invites participants, regardless of musical background, to directly interact with the work through the touch-screen instruments designed by the artist. The instrument works by transforming color values from a glitch-graphical score into perceivable sounds. The central aim of this work is to provide an immersive audiovisual experience that allows the audience to actively control and engage with the installation.
