AMIHAI AGOU
BIOGRAPHY

Amihai Agou is the owner of Magic Stones jewelry shop & Magic Waters Aquasonic Therapy Centre in Koh Phangan, Thailand. He is a highly respected and sought-after Water Therapist and Trainer. In his private practice, Amihai incorporates his wisdom of Sound Healing, Chi Nei Tsang, Reiki, Thai Vedic Massage, Counselling and Family Constellations.

This multilingual Creative Designer, Entrepreneur, Father, Chef, Water & Sound Therapist was born & raised in the colourful, cultural melting pot of Jerusalem to a French seamstress & Algerian carpenter. His parents, who settled in Israel in their 20s, imbued him with a fine eye and keen sensitivity to detail. He learned from a young age how to create everything with his own bare hands. Growing up in a multicultural city teeming with tourists has infused Amihai’s soul fabric with a myriad of culture, food, sights & smells. His perceptive intuition & talented hands weave wonders with the intricacies of everything from: cuisine to jewelry, the human body & psyche to energy, matter & spirit. Amihai’s heart and hands channel pure art, love and deep healing.

Amihai’s life journey has taken him across many countries both professionally and personally. His rich brocade of experiences inform his wellness practice and offerings. His intriguing growth path includes 3 national defense years, half spent in extremely dangerous, complicated situations in Lebanon. Post-military, Amihai worked at Israel’s most renowned seafood restaurant OCEAN by Eyal Shani first as Sous-Chef, then Executive Chef. Here he fed prime ministers, ministers, diplomats and foreign dignitaries such as Bush, Clinton, Merckel and Obama over several stints peppered with exciting travels through Asia including: India, Indonesia, Nepal, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines and Japan - where he lived for over a year. During his backpacking years, he collected a diversity of smells, tastes, cultures, ideas and fell madly in love with stones, embarking on a lifetime love affair with jewelry design. Amihai is a true autodidact and handyman, self-taught in the kitchen & at the artisan’s workbench.

With 6 years of travels around Asia under his belt, Amihai decided to stop for a moment & found himself in the paradise of Koh Phangan, Thailand. An idyllic pause that turned into 23 years of tropical island life! It was here that Amihai became a parent and partner, experiencing extraordinary love, profound pain and shocking loss.

To cope with his personal traumas, Amihai turned to private Water Therapy sessions with Ofer Rosenthal, Founder of Fly Deeper Academy of Aquatic Arts. His first session blew him away, allowing him to safely cry out all the pain he’d never cried in his life. It was so powerful & transformative that he knew instantly, this was his calling. During his healing journey, he was astonished to witness how much power Water Therapy holds for coping with emotions repressed for many years – in his case, army traumas and emotional stress. He experienced that water acts as catalyst and medium for release, particularly meaningful in the process of attending to situations repressed from the past in the body.
