Né à Bobo Dioulasso au Burkina Faso, dans une famille de griots, Harouna est initié dès l'enfance aux percussions traditionnelles — djembé, balafon, doundoun, bara — portant en lui l'héritage vivant d'une musique sacrée.Nommé chef batteur de la troupe Yelemba d'Abidjan en 1994, il sillonne l'Europe et le monde depuis plus de trente ans, alliant virtuosité et transmission. Premier soliste incontesté, il anime des stages pour amateurs et professionnels avec la même passion.Fondateur du collectif Akeïkoi à Nantes — dont l'album Binkafô (2002) fusionne rock et musiques ethniques — puis du groupe Parisi à Bobo Dioulasso, il incarne le dialogue entre tradition burkinabée et ouverture au monde.Il est désormais basé à Nice et à Bobo Dioulasso d’où il rayonne pour partager son savoir au plus grand nombre. As an undisputed lead soloist, he leads workshops for both amateurs and professionals with unwavering passion. Founder of the Akeikoi collective in Nantes-whose 2002 album Binkafô fused rock with ethnic music-and later the group Parisi in Bobo-Dioulasso, he embodies the dialogue between Burkinab tradition and global openness. Now based between Nice and Bobo-Dioulasso, he continues to share his extensive knowledge with audiences worldwide.
