Deze unieke beurs brengt virtuele bedrijven uit binnen- en buitenland samen, gerund door studenten uit het secundair en hoger onderwijs én volwassen werkzoekenden. Een virtueel bedrijf is een leerbedrijf binnen een gesimuleerde economie waarin learning by doing centraal staat. Handel wordt gedreven met virtueel geld, zonder echte leveringen, maar met een volledige en professionele afhandeling van de documentenstroom. Tijdens BELFAIR staat het actief ondernemen centraal: trainees voeren onderhandelingen, registreren bestellingen in ERP-systemen en overtuigen bezoekers met een commerciële pitch.

BELFAIR met l’accent sur l’entrepreneuriat actif: les participants mènent des négociations, enregistrent des commandes dans des progiciels ERP et convainquent les visiteurs grâce à un pitch commercial.
