- **Event Description**: Transform Camp is an initiative of University Discipleship Movement (UDM). UDM is a student-led, staff-directed non-denominational organization focusing on Evangelism, Discipleship, Leadership 
Development and Missions programs in Colleges and Universities in East Africa. UDM seeks to work with already-existing Christian groups (such as Christian unions in universities, colleges and churches)
to come alongside them in providing evangelism training, disciples hip resources, leadership training and mission opportunities and trainings. We also seek to establish ongoing discipleship programs and plant campus churches in universities where there is no existing Christian groups with the goal of raising next generation of leaders for Africa and beyond.
UDM vision is train and send agents of transformation who are faithful witnesses of Christ from the Campus to the World. Our mission is to invite, disciple and send university students as witnesses for Christ. For several years now, we have been engaged in Campus Ministry. We also reach out to high schools and primary schools. UDM follows a ministry model based on 4E's: Engage, Establish, Equip and Export.
We began in one location with a small group of students in one campus back in Uganda in the year 2002 at Kampala International University and it has now spread to more than fourteen different locations across the East Africa region. We now have ministries in Uganda, Kenya, Zambia and Congo. In all these countries, we have core teams of several staff who are working in different locations and they help to raise student volunteers/leaders in those different campuses. These staff work as patrons or guides unto the student work which helps the ministry in its objective of the ministry being student-led staff directed.
The Transform Camp brings together students from various institutions, the alumni (associates) and the speakers. The average number has been 300 attendants.
