Paul Banks has been a household name on the Danish Roots scene for more than four decades. His virtuosic and easily recognisable guitar style has inspired several generations of Danish guitarists, and his distinctive vocals and poetic songwriting have earned him many awards in fields ranging from Folk, Jazz and Blues to children’s music.

Paul Banks is a one-man band. From a focus point of folk, blues and ragtime, he incorporates elements of jazz and gospel in his own unmistakable sound combining a unique guitar style and melodic tunes. His lyrics are sometimes personal, sometimes funny, sometimes topical, but always with an engaging story.

He has appeared on app. 100 releases with other recording artists and released 17 albums in his own name including two recent LP re-issues.

ABOUT Paolo's Jazz Club

Created in June 2022, Paolo's Jazz Club is an intimate concert venue created around and by the pianist, bandoneonist and composer, Paolo Russo together with his wife, the singer, artist and voice awareness teacher, Katrine Krog Russo on the West part of island Møn in the Southern part of Denmark.

Situated on the West part of the island of Møn just South of Sjælland. Arriving from Copenhagen by car the trip takes approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes and free parking is available.

Tickets are purchased via Billetto.dk  

Price starts at 275 DKK approx. 40€. It is not possible to reserve tickets. If the concert is not sold out you can purchase tickets at the door for 325 DKK/45€ in cash or MobilePay. If possible, please advice us via sms at +45 31 42 13 24. 

Children 12+ are welcome. Youth price pr. ticket 150 DKK (12-25 yrs) please contact us directly to purchase. No pets allowed.
