Ernesto Manuitt Hernández was born in Habana, Cuba, in 1969.
As the son of a Cuban mother and Venezuelan father, he spent the first 7 years of his life in Cuba, and then moved to Venezuela with the family.
Here he grew up with the Venezuelan folk music tradition, became a virtuoso on the Cuatro as well as picking up basically all of the countries popular folk songs, which made him a popular entertainer already as a teenager, where his exceptionally beautiful voice and enormous repertoire soon led to fame far beyond his village.
At 18 years old, he moved back to Cuba to begin medical school, and was very quickly absorbed within the flourishing musical environment in Habana, and before long he was discovered by Mirtha Medina, one of Cubans most famous entertainers, who couldn't resist his charm and notorious stage personality.
He toured with her famous cabaret show for a couple of years, and when Mirtha Medina decided to move to the US, orchestra leader Giraldo Piloto didn't hesitate to contract Ernesto as founding member of his new orchestra KLIMAX, which within very short time became incredibly popular on a worldwide basis with its amazing stage show combined with great songs and musicians.
In 1999, he became the father of a little baby girl, Linda, in Berlin, Germany, and decided to give up the hectic life of touring and dedicate his time to his daughter.
In 2002 he moved to Denmark, from where he has continued his professional career as lead-singer and special guest star in groups such as Grupo Danson (DK), Picason (Switzerland), Orquesta Gali (Switzerland), Alex Wilson project (UK), Sonido Tres (GER), Son Trombón (GER), Son Timba (GER), Calixto Oviedo y La Recompensa (SWE), CocoSon (DK), Ice Cream Vendors (DK), Salsa Na'Ma' (DK), Aché (DK), Cubop (DK), Candela (DK), Latin Monster (DK), Mambo Night Orchestra, Latinelectrónico (DK), Charanga Cubita (DK), Trío Domison (DK), Salsason (DK),
Via Artis Konsort (DK), The Walter Project (DK), The Antonelli Orchestra "Vild med dans" (DK) as well as being a popular guest with the Danish Radio Big Band and frequently singing in Norway with Norwegian band leader KK and his different latin jazz projects with quartet or big-band.

ABOUT Paolo's Jazz Club
Created in June 2022, Paolo's Jazz Club is an intimate concert venue created around and by the pianist, bandoneonist and composer, Paolo Russo together with his wife, the singer, artist and voice awareness teacher, Katrine Krog Russo.
The venue is on the West part of island Møn in the Southern part of Denmark. Arriving from Copenhagen by car the trip takes approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes and free parking is available.

Tickets are purchased via Billetto.dk. Early bird price: 275 DKK. Regular price: 295 DKK (approx. 40€). It is not possible to reserve tickets. If the concert is not sold out you can purchase tickets at the door for 325 DKK/45€ in cash or MobilePay. If possible, please advice us via sms at +45 31 42 13 24.
Children 12+ are welcome. Youth price pr. ticket 150 DKK (12-25 yrs) please contact us directly to purchase. No pets allowed.
