Are you, or someone you love, finding the holidays difficult because a special person can’t be here? You’re not alone. This gathering is a drop in event, meant to offer Hope and H.E.L.P.P. to anyone spending Christmas separated from someone dear, whether they are deceased, deployed, estranged, or simply far away.
Join us at Peachtree Landing for an evening of light and community. Write your loved one’s name on a luminary as we celebrate the love, memories, and hope that continue to shine in our hearts with friends, speakers, and music.
H.E.L.P.P. stands for Hope, Encouragement, Love, Purpose, and Perseverance…the gifts our family has received from friends and now hopes to share with others.
We will gather on December 18th to remember someone precious to our family who has been missing from us for too many years, and we invite you to remember your loved ones alongside us. This night is for our community, for anyone who finds the holidays a little heavier because of distance, deployment, time, or loss.
As your luminary glows, may it remind you of God’s promise: Emmanuel, God with us. Together, we will choose a “different kind of Christmas,” one filled with shared strength and gentle hope.
If you cannot attend, you’re welcome to light a candle at home or share a candle photo in honor of your loved one. We will be praying for you and yours during the vigil.
