Theresa Dove is a beloved Wife, Daughter, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin, Friend and Person. Theresa is just one of those people you want to be around all of the time, her energy is contagious, her laugh is “infectious” as her loved ones describe and she is always on the go. Theresa has been a large part of the Muskegon Community and has touched so many people with her stand-out personality. She is currently in the process of retiring from The Homestead after 37 years of service to the local restaurant. Theresa can be found during the summer on a boat or at the beach surrounded by her friends and family. She enjoys the outdoors and going to her cabin; as well as playing cards and hitting the casino for a good time.
Just recently, she and her family received the devastating news that she is battling Glioblastoma. This diagnosis has been devastating for Theresa, her family and loved ones.
Lakeside Cafe wants to help take some stress off of this amazing families shoulders, by hosting a Benefit here at the restaurant. December 8th, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00pm we will be serving Spaghetti dinners with meatballs, garlic toast and a drink with ALL proceeds going towards Theresa’s medical expenses and anything she may need during this time. Spaghetti dinners will not have a base price, the price is up to you; we kindly ask anyone participating in the benefit to ‘contribute what you’re able’ in support of an amazing woman. But please give from the heart as Theresa has served our community in many ways for many years, it’s the least we can do to give back and show our support for her ongoing battle.
