Many young children long to be seen, heard, and understood for who they truly are. Yet for some children, expressing themselves can feel challenging. They may worry about being different, struggle to share their thoughts and feelings, or find it difficult to communicate in ways others understand.

This themed Chakradance Kids workshop for 3–6 year olds gently helps children discover the confidence to express themselves authentically and celebrate what makes them unique.

Through movement, music, story, art, and mindfulness, children will journey with Tom, a boy who feels different from the other children at Kinder. While Tom communicates in his own special way with his beloved elephant friends, he struggles when others don't understand him. When a sharing circle experience leaves him feeling hurt and alone, Tom embarks on a journey that helps everyone discover an important truth: there are many beautiful ways to communicate, connect, and share our gifts with the world.

? A balanced Throat Chakra allows children to:
• Communicate their thoughts, feelings, and needs with confidence
• Express themselves honestly and authentically
• Listen deeply to others
• Hear and trust their own inner voice
• Share their creativity, ideas, and unique gifts
• Develop confidence in being themselves

? When the Throat Chakra is out of balance, children may:
• Feel shy or afraid to speak up
• Worry about being judged or misunderstood
• Struggle to express their needs and feelings
• Find it difficult to listen to others
• Feel different or excluded
• Hide their true selves to fit in

This workshop offers children a safe and playful space to discover that their voice matters. Through creative movement, storytelling, art, and self-expression, children will learn that being different is something to celebrate and that everyone has their own special way of sharing who they are.
