He has received many awards in teaching, service, and scholarship and has published eight textbooks and offered many articles and presentations in such topics as community mental health, dialogue, and global wellbeing. He is a popular facilitator and educator who uses a blend of dialogue and didactic presentation in his programs. Dr Dave currently provides consultation, teaching, and counseling in his private practice, including trainings for local and regional organizations. He facilitates dialogues at the Millcreek Senior Center and Library, teaches in the University Osher program, facilitates LCSW consultation groups, and contributes articles to City Weekly.
