Learn the why's and how's for grafting and then do it! Participants will choose from modern and heirloom varieties to graft to semi-dwarfing rootstock and create 2 trees to take home.All materials will be provided and are included with the purchase of class admission. Students will then choose their scion wood and rootstock for 2 apple trees and graft them using the tools and supplies given. Students will take home their two trees with some soil to keep the roots moist and instructions on how to care for their new trees at home.
